It is already 9.30PM here in Malaysia, but the Spirit Day hype has just started.

I am wearing a purple T-shirt and my hair is done up with a purple comb and rubberband.

I spent my whole afternoon looking up news articles regarding the recent string of gay teen suicides.

I am glad to see that some non-profit pro-LGBT organizations have formed over the past weeks following the deaths of gay teenagers.

I have Adam Lambert to thank for this sudden change in mindset.

What I love about Adam Lambert:

His rocker style

• Like I said, it’s all about eyeliner and leather jackets.
• His awesome spiky hair with inky-blue highlights? Check.
• The flashy smile. *sizzle
• And I quote Adam, “I think the key to personal style is to not give a shit about what everyone else thinks.”

His vocals

• The tremendous vocal range.
• How he stands miles above other vocal contenders.
• My heart skips a beat when he hits the falsetto note.
• Think Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury!

His aura

• He puts the ‘trance’ in ‘entrance’.
• I love how he looks and feels at home on the stage.
• Originality. Enough said.

As to why I should and deserve to win the exclusive tickets from DiGi:

1. This is the GLAM NATION TOUR. How many times in my whole life would I get the chance to win tickets to the GLAM NATION TOUR? Just this once.
